Get creative and make your own chicken wire frame.
{Project}
What you will need:
frame, chicken wire, plain and *patterned burlap, thin wood or cardboard, ribbon, buttons, craft wire to add buttons, clothespins, glue, black chalkboard paint for the frame, dark gray primer for the chicken wire and light gray paint for underneath the burlap. * Patterned burlap is from Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Store.
Paint your wood frame with black chalkboard paint. It's a good idea to spray paint your chicken wire gray now. I used gray primer. Now paint the wood board or cardboard light gray and then glue on your plain and patterned burlap to it. Now is the time to add your pretty black ribbon. Use your craft wire to add your pearl buttons to your chicken wire. You're almost done just pop in your chicken wire and glue the burlap inside the frame for a tight fit. Let dry and add decorated clothes pins and a pretty key.
*Chicken wire can be found at garden centers and hardware stores.

Dee,
I love your frame! That is one of the things the future DIL wants for her wedding to hang table assignment tags on. HOw did you attached the chicken wire? All I can think of is using a staple gun? thepolkadotcloset@live.com
