Asao Clematis Vines

I am a container gardener junky. lol

Are YOU?
I'd like to say I was born with a green thumb. Most gardeners will tell you they are just having fun. It's an easy hobby to start. Buy the plants you like and follow the simple instructions that are on the tag. It's so easy that even your kids and your husband will get involved. Who doesn't like to play in the dirt? Do you remember making those famous mud pies?
Asao clematis vines have large rosy pink flowers and are highly fragrant. They are wonderful for container gardeners like me. I highly recommend them due to their beauty and easy care. The good news is they are easy to find at your local garden centers. They are considered one of the top clematis to own. Asao clematis adds color and impact to your garden and bloom from spring to fall. Can you tell that I love them? :)

This is how they started off last year. In just one year you will have oodles of large showy pink blooms.

How’s that for BIG amazing beauty!

I hope I've inspired you to start your own show stopper container garden.

Whoa! Love that moving "Thanks for stopping by" animated thing at the end there, Dee!!

I love your potted clematis. I kept planting one every year to climb up my mailbox and it never came back. I think the salt trucks in the winter probably killed the root systems and they just couldn't get through it?

I did plant one at the base of our tall bird house and it is back again for year three and I saw lots of happy green leaves and new shoots this week. Location location location!!

Thanks for sharing. Love your cute pots. :)

I've never tried vines, yours are pretty against the green pot. I have put various flowers in one large pot and watched the staging of the blossoms.

Mud pies, I used my tea set and made little grass and leaf salads to go along, ah youth.

These flowers are so beautiful Dee! Clematis is a flower I do not have yet in my yard but will eventually since I find them so gorgeous. This year I have been focusing on moving plants around and will be making sure everything stays alive!

Your clematis are beautiful, Dee. I didn't realize you could grow them in containers- I've only seen them climbing up mail boxes. Love the idea of container gardening- no weeding! :)

Dearest Dee,

Those pots are gorgeous, especially with the clematis inside. We keep lots of pots but it is a burden, each fall for bringing them inside the greenhouse for keeping them alive. Not all pots withstand frost either...
Love to you,

Mariette

Container garden is good in our apartment in urban. I do like and can put around a dining table or corner of a balcony. This sort of green is pretty with big pink flowers.

We keep our plants in big pots or planters now, too. It's fun and manageable! ♥ Love the containers you've used! Gorgeous color! ♥

Hi Dee,
I love clematis, I have tried to grow it twice before, to no avail. It just dies on me. Maybe I did not have the Asao clematis vine.
I will be going to the Nursery one day soon, I'll look for the Asao clematis. Yours are so beautiful!

Hey Dee!!!!! Your flowers are so, so lovely!!!! I do love flowers, but believe me it is not that easy to grow them, for some people like me, for example...mine always die :( that is why I always enjoy the others' flowers...

Yup, nursery here I come. Thanks for sharing! I have a link party and would love if you linked this up. Find link to it on my sidebar. Or it's my 2nd latest post.

Those look great! I wouldn't have ever thought of growing clematis in a pot but they look marvelous! Are you keeping them trimmed back so they don't grow real tall? Love the pots you chose too..beautiful!

I really do like your containers! Love the green color! I find that these can be very expensive in our area. Do you find them at bargain places, or do you just pick out the specific design that you are looking for..
Enjoyed.

Oh Dee I would love to have plants in containers, but they usually end up dead. It is so hot in Orlando that they have to be watered every single day, no fail and if I o out of town for a day or two it's roots up. I do love the way they look mixed in with a garden they are so pretty and the array of pot choices is endless

Good Morning Dee:
Love your Clematis! They are show stoppers to be sure. I have three areas in my garden that have Clematis and they seem to just go on and on and on year after year! This seems to be a good year for Clematic as some of my buds are huge this year! Time will tell. Thanks for the idea of Clematis in containers!!Mary Anne ox

I love clematis and even after the deck builder almost killed it, it came back up the following year! But how do you contain it in a nice clump? I guess if the trellis is short, it stays contained and bushy?
