Coffee Can Centerpiece ♡ Burlap ♡

~ Burlap Love~

Having three children my husband and I drink a lot of coffee. Sometimes way too much coffee. We have used the coffee cans for school supplies and for storing tools. I decided this one was mine. I transformed a coffee can last year. Why not make another one.

(Last Year's Coffee Can)

(The Supplies I Used)

The chalkboard was a fun addition.

I used pearl straight pins for the back.

(This Year's Coffee Can)

I added fresh flowers!

I learned how to make the cute flower from sweet Gina from Random thoughts from an incoherent mind.

(The Supplies)

I used straight pins till the glue dried.

I then added a little lace and painted the inside with chalk paint.

There's just something about burlap

Happy Crafting!
xo,
Dee

  7. Dee, you always have fresh ideas brewing! pun intended

These cans are Grade A, percolating with prettiness. (I just can't stop.)

You canned stop yourself either. (I better grind to a halt, that was a stretch.)

I'm a tea drinker, but these are so cute ♥

  10. I love the key design. A little Steampunk-y! And yes, the coffee tin is just another reason to drink more coffee. The burlap give a nice texture over the tin. Very nice, Dee.

  12. Hi there! I'm back to Paris where the weather is like in November... I was in NYC and Charlotte, NC to visit some friends and cousins. I spent a great (but too short) great time!
That's funny, I live not for of le Marché aux Fleurs, one of my toddler's favourite playground is next to it.
    Bon week end, bisous

  13. That looks so pretty, Dee! With all those burlap covered items out at the stores lately, it's nice to be able to make your own. Especially if you've already got everything on hand. A coffee can is a great size to use as a vase or planter. I love the ferns and violets you've put in it against the burlap.
