Lavender Parfumeur Art

 

Below are the true colors of the parfumeur lavender art.

I used my woodworker's transfer tool for this project.

You can find the woodworker's transfer tool on my sidebar.

 I enlarge the art and taped it all together. First I taped it from the front and then I taped the back of the paper. I then removed most of the tape from the front so it did not interfere with the transfer.

 Here you see the toner is being lifted off the paper onto the wood.

 I was halfway finished transferring the picture from my laser printer.

The center of the picture is gray as above and brown around the sides. The pictures are not showing their true colors indoors.

I added eyes screws and wire to the back of the frame. 

I used the vinegar solution to stain the wood.

~ How to Age the Wood ~ 

Apple Cider Vinegar, Steel Wool, Container for Solution and  Paint Brush 

Pour the apple cider vinegar into a container. Add the steel wool and let it sit for 24 hours.

 I used a chip paint brush to apply the mixture to the wood.  

*Save your leftover mixture. I poured the rest into a glass jar. I discarded the steel wool.

 I painted the wood sides black.
