Bird Cloche

 Summer time fun!

The cloche is from Wisteria.

I spray painted the flower gold and added a chalkboard tag.

As you can see the furniture still needs to be recovered. I'm stalling ......... I really need to learn how to use the sewing machine. Sewing by hand is 'sew' slow. lol

  2. Dee love your cloche from Wisteria with the bird on top. You did a wonderful job filling it up and love your flower and chalkboard tag. Just perfect as usual. We just got home from Texas and I was so surprised to see I won a chalkboard pot. I'm so excited and happy to be a winner. Thank you so much. rj

I don't know how I'd get by without sewing things on a regular basis! It's 'sew' therapeutic to me.

  12. I agree about sewing. I have the same problem and my sewing machine is literally sitting covered in my closet. Tear.

  13. That is a very pretty cloche! I love it, if I lived near you, I would teach you how to use your sewing machine. It probably is not very difficult. Have you tried watching a video to learn how? You would love it if you could.

  14. Such a beautiful cloche! I would love one in my home, and the little gardening tools inside are awesome. I have to give you words of encouragement about using a machine...I have been sewing everything (badly) by hand. My mom brought me a few weeks ago and last night I bit the bullet and learned how to thread the needle and wind the bobbin. Found videos on YouTube that show you EXACTLY how to do it!I am so excited....taught my two daughters how today.
ANYWAY, thanks for stopping by my blog and following me....I am your new follower:)!

  15. I love your cloche, it's just so cute. And you really should start sewing. When we moved into my home 10 years ago I had a very small budget for window treatments so I bought a sewing machine and made treatments for over 35 windows and all of my bedding. I saved a ton of money in labor. It's been 10 yrs so now I'm starting to update little by little. I just wish I had more time now. Sewing is not difficult at all. You should see if any of the local technical schools offer classes. They are usually pretty cheap and well worth it!
