How to keep your potted plants from drying out between watering. 
Here is a sneak peek of our patio my husband and I built.

 

The pretty green pots are from Lowe's.


 They are made from some kind of plastic resin. My husband drilled two holes in the back of each pot.


He then filled the pots with pebbles for good drainage.
TIP*Leave the rubber plug in the bottom of the pot.


Don't forget to add peat moss. You will thank me when you have less watering to do.

 Add a good potting mix and your good to go.



The pretty green pots are going in my driveway. Who said driveways have to be boring. I'm working on designing a trellis for them.

    Pretty pots. I thought I was weird when I always put pebbles in the bottom of my pots. Guess I wasn't so weird after all. Thanks for the tips. :-)

    Thank you for those tips, I love to garden, but I know so little about it that I get frustrated when things just don't grow or dry out and die.
    You gave me a great idea, too. I should decorate my driveway with flower pots.

    yup love the color of those pots !
    great tips, now if you don't want the pots to be too heavy (some you may want to move around) put packing peanuts in the bottom (don't use the biodegradeable ones tho) .

    Such a beautiful color! I need to start putting some rocks at the bottom of my pots for drainage...I just always forget that step!
