Here you can see I covered the wood with the cotton tea-shirt.

 I glued on the metal crown charm and some buttons for a little bling.

That's great, Dee! Thanks for sharing the image! I swear I am going to try this technique ~ soon. : ) I actually have a picture that I brought with us when we moved, just for the frame. I think it would make a great cork board and I'd love to use this image maybe on burlap {or something that can take pushpins going through it}.
