Yard Sale Frame

Plain old frame gets a makeover using raised lace and spray paint.

A yard-sale find.

Cut out the shapes you plan to use.

Glue the lace on.

Now wait for it to dry overnight.

Here I spray primed the frame.

 I painted the undercoat red. This will give me the final gold color I want.

After the red paint was dry I spray painted it gold. Next I added some brown and black paint flecks with an old toothbrush.
