Make a bulletin board using a coffee sack.
You will need: a burlap sack, frame, cork, cardboard, paint, glue, stapler and push pins.
I painted my frame with Benjamin Moore - bone white in semi-gloss. Glue your cork to the cardboard. Cut your burlap sack to size including both the front and back and place it on top of your cork. Now staple and glue it to the back of your frame.
*Let dry overnight.
I purchased the frame with the floral print.
Any frame you have on hand will do.
Antique upholstery nails make great looking push pins. I painted them silver and then aged them with a walnut stain.
I love how the frame turned out.
What are you waiting for? Go make one yourself. You will be glad you did.

Yay!!! I LOVE your burlap bulletin board! I have been scouring the local area for burlap to no avail. I guess I can live vicariously through you. ;)

Great project Dee! Looks so cute too.
Great use for a frame whose picture you have no use for, Dee! I actually brought 3 or 4 framed pieces with us just for the frames! I have no idea what I'm doing with them yet, but I couldn't give up those frames.
Great idea and it turned out so nicely!
Great graphics on this, Dee. I've made these, and it's such a great way to repurpose burlap. Your frame works beautifully.
Super ideja!!
Pozdrav.
Love your new bulletin board Dee. You are the "Queen of bulletin boards" my friend. I'm the lucky owner of two of your beautiful bulletin boards and love them both so much. Each one is so perfectly done. Love the frame that you used...it works perfect with your burlap bag.
I'm about to make two myself for gifts and I will use your ideas for inspiration. Thanks you. Hope you are feeling better too. rj
Great job on this project! I love the coffee sack. Well done!

Hi, Dee
I been having the hardest time finding vintage burlaps or even sacks. Do you have any suggestions?
Thanks,
Vanessa
Hi Dee! You're getting creative!!! I loved this bulletin board. I'm planning to make one of these for me but not yet I've got the stuff I need.

I love this! Thanks for sharing it! I'm on my way to but some coffee sacks I saw at an antique store- I have to try this!
The fancy upholstery tacks as pushpins is a really smart move. It wouldn't do to have mundane plastic pins in this lovely board. Thank you for the tutorial!
I love it Dee, thanks for sharing!
