This Old House - Driveway Redone

This summer my husband decides to rip out the driveway. A man sees him doing it and says I'm putting a new driveway in for your neighbor. I'll make you a deal. I'll charge you X amount of dollars if you let me do the job today.

Alrighty then ......let's get started.

Our driveway had three layers.
It also had a concrete curb. The kind you would see for sidewalks.
Not at all an attractive look for a driveway.

The concrete curb was taking out. We used belgium block to edge our driveway.

It's such a major improvement! Now we really do have curb appeal. :-)

I can now walk in my driveway without tripping.
 It's a good thing!

 *One day to complete!!!
A world's record for 'This Old House'.

It's amazing how something like a driveway can make such a difference to a house's curb appeal, Dee! I'll bet your hubby was glad he didn't have to do it himself. That's a tough job for a one man crew!

Love it! I'm showing pics to hubby cause this is exactly what I need for our drive-way too--I love that you can get this "poured" right up to the fence and your block-work. Looks fabulous!
