~ Burlap Love~
Having three children my husband and I drink a lot of coffee. Sometimes way too much coffee. We have used the coffee cans for school supplies and for storing tools. I decided this one was mine. I transformed a coffee can last year. Why not make another one.

The chalkboard was a fun addition.
I used pearl straight pins for the back.

I added fresh flowers!
I learned how to make the cute flower from sweet Gina from Random thoughts from an incoherent mind.

I used straight pins till the glue dried.
I then added a little lace and painted the inside with chalk paint.
There's just something about burlap ❤

Oh Dee, this is just so pretty. Burlap & purple pansies look great together. I love the lace trim and the pom pom flower. I would really love to make one of these.

These cans are Grade A, percolating with prettiness. (I just can't stop.)
You canned stop yourself either. (I better grind to a halt, that was a stretch.)

I love the key design. A little Steampunk-y! And yes, the coffee tin is just another reason to drink more coffee. The burlap give a nice texture over the tin. Very nice, Dee.

That looks so pretty, Dee! With all those burlap covered items out at the stores lately, it's nice to be able to make your own. Especially if you've already got everything on hand. A coffee can is a great size to use as a vase or planter. I love the ferns and violets you've put in it against the burlap.
Dee you are so inventive. What a great way to use up those unwanted cans. I usually pass them on to my hubby to use in the garage.Next time I might keep one for me.

They are both very nice....don't know which is my fave....but...we don't drink coffee...well pooh!
